December 2017 marked OPSEU Local 500’s 3rd annual holiday food drive in support of the Daily Bread Food Bank. With the generous contributions of all staff throughout the hospital we were able to raise $1000 and over 700 lbs of food.

I would like to thank all those that helped spread the word amongst their colleagues and those who organized collections within their departments;  a special thanks to Susan Eckerle Curwood (for being my point-person at the other site and receiving and managing all of the RS and CS donations) and Lisa McCaul-Smith, my team mate in the out patient pharmacy, who tirelessly packed up donations into boxes (and checked all the expiry dates while she was at it!)

Once again you have shown that CAMH is full of generosity, compassion and charity.
