The Black Employees Resource Group (BERG) was founded to empower staff to participate more fully in endeavours that will improve our mental and physical health through peer support.

This group aims to provide crisis support, mentorship, advocacy, capacity building, and professional development–thereby empowering Black staff to partake more fully in organizational initiatives that will contribute to a chance in culture and facilitate more equitable outcomes at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).

BERG is an intentionally inclusive group that welcomes all Black employees, LGBTQ2S+ communities, persons with disabilities and all genders across sectors of CAMH.
