On Monday, March 25, the Toronto & York Region Labour Council will host a Mass Stewards Assembly to reach deep into our movement and engage up to 1,000 front line activists from unions across the GTA.

• The goal?
  To share our perspectives on the impact of Doug Ford’s attack on workers rights and public services on our members, our unions and our communities.
• To plan how we can build a collective fightback to defeat the Ford agenda, and
• To ramp up our organizing within and between our unions and with our community allies to make that happen, starting NOW!

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Linda McQuaig
(Bestselling Author, Activist & All-Around Badass!)

The Stewards Assembly will include:

• A keynote address by noted author & activist Linda McQuaig
• Working discussions on building our fightback, organizing tools we can make it happen,
• A forum to network with our labour allies to build the kind of real, active solidarity to beat back the Tory attack.

Now is the time to come together as a powerful united movement working for justice!

So your Region 5 EBMs are asking EVERY OPSEU Local in Region 5 to send a minimum of one – and hopefully many more – stewards & activists to this critical meeting.
