A note from Ed Arvelin, Sector 18 Chair:

Due to a scheduled break week at the Ontario Legislature, we have moved the dates for the MHD’s fall lobby day at Queen’s Park. Lobby events will now take place one week later, on Monday October 16, and Tuesday October 17.

On October 16, participants are expected to attend an evening lobby training session at the Chelsea Hotel, in downtown Toronto. Participants will then spend the entire day at Queen’s Park on October 17, visiting with their MPPs and demanding action to improve workplace health and safety.

The dates are now confirmed and finalized, and your registration packages will be sent out by next week – so be sure to stay tuned!

OPSEU central will be covering the costs for two representatives from each bargaining unit to attend (highest ranking/local president), however, the lobby day is open to all members interested in attending.
